The outdoor swimming pool was a refreshing oasis, like a cool drink in the desert heat. It provided the perfect spot to unwind after a day of safari adventures. the friendly staff ensured we had a splashing good time!

The staff was excellent and affable and the host too. Appreciated staying here, my room was clean and had air conditioner and a private entrance.

The breakfast had a great variety of delicious meals, our room had a bathtub, and the location was excellent for exploring the nearby shops.

I stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was deluxe, with absolutely perfect and lovely location just off all areas, including cabins, Udawalawa National park and the restaurant. The atmosphere created was special...

Convenient location near the Elephant Orphanage and the river where you can hear peacocks and spot monkeys in the trees 🌿.

Mastodon Valley Safari Resort provides a back-to-nature experience with amazing food and friendly staff. the Safari organized by the manager was excellent, allowing guests to see a variety of wildlife comfortably. the beautiful garden and comfortable cabins create a magical atmosphere to relax and enjoy stargazing.

Spacious rooms and a great pool to chill at. the location is just surrounded by beautiful nature, making it super easy to explore on foot 🌿.

Had a blast at a jungle hotel for a night. the owner, Dinusha, was super helpful and made us feel right at home. the food was delicious - loved the freshly made meals! the wildlife sounds in the background were a real treat, and the staff was top-notch, especially Dulen who took care of all our needs and made sure we had a smooth safari experience. the back-to-nature feel and amazing food made this a unique and memorable stay.

Sadly, our stay couldn't be longer as we had to move on. Would have loved to soak in the peaceful jungle atmosphere for a few more days.

The location here is stunning, not far from a lovely river with big trees and playful monkeys as well as being easily accessible, plus the food is delicious!

The location was stunning with a beautiful garden and pool. Being close to local shops was a plus for convenience.

The bathroom lighting could be improved for better visibility. A minor detail, but worth mentioning to be aware of.
